Herrick (drum static)
Performed at the Mountbatten Festival of Music (in the Royal Albert Hall) by the massed Corps of Drums of HM Royal Marines.

Broken down into three phrases this static is a very fast, flowing piece.

The static utilises a lot of unison stick work along with a few ripple and tiered effects.

Originally written for four drummers but can easily be adapted for as many as your imagination can stretch.

The solo part can be played either on MSD (Military Snare Drum) or HTS (High Tension Snare Drum), which sounds great when teamed up with the bass drum.

This static is aimed at Drum Corps of all experiences.
