CORPORATESTIX AND THE WAY AHEAD

A personal note to customers from Phil Macefield

Having served my time in the Royal Marines Band Service I started a new career as a partner in CorporateStix. Over the last few years CorporateStix has been privileged to acquire a highly valued customer base; a number of them have become known to me personally as I have always endeavoured to give a personal service. I became a victim of my own success as the demands became greater and greater. I had recognised the needs of the market place but felt that it might overwhelm me unless I took some positive and remedial action. Expansion was not an option for me. Although expansion did become an option as I will explain.

From the early days of CorporateStix, the group of companies within the All Arms Marketing and Manufacturing Organisation (A.M.M.O.) were very supportive and a major supplier. I established a great rapport with them and worked on a number of developments with them. AMMO‘s strength was their specialised design and manufacturing facilities for military ceremonial equipment. They are official contractors to the Ministry of Defence and supply ceremonial equipment directly to all the Armed Services in the United Kingdom as well as overseas territories.

I was keen to be included when I learned of the positive attitude to their research and development ambitions, something that Corporatestix has also strived to achieve. As I had been considered one of the team as well as a customer for some time, it was a natural progression to work with them in the development of new products. My enthusiasm grew as I learned of a major development in the design and production of a new military marching drum together with a new range of regulation bugles. As my relationship and activity with the company grew then with it came a proposal that we should join forces with the formation of a Marching Band Division within the group of companies and that I would head it up.

I am pleased to announce that with effect from 1^st June 2011 the merger became effective and this is the official announcement. CorporateStix web-site www.corporatestix.co.uk will continue to operate as it always has done and still retains my leadership. The merger allows for a wider range of products that until now has not been readily available and also enables me to be free to undertake a more personal service to my customers as an adviser and general helper to the marching band world.
